The Power of Bragging

Jan 10, 2018 | Blog Post, Uncategorized | 0 comments

Recently I did a video post on Linked In called the Power of Bragging. Having worked with thousands of women over the course of twenty years, I can attest to the fact, that many women do not brag about themselves ever.

That results is the following outcomes: 1. Less awareness of their power  2. Less awareness of their abilities 3. Less awareness of their intelligence                                                                                       4. Less awareness of their impact

When our children come home with their report card, we want them to embrace their results. We want them to share their successes. We want to reiterate the power they have for greatness.

Somehow this gets lost as we move into adulthood. While there is a lot of negative connotation with the word, the focus is about showing up and communicating your worth. It’s not about lifting yourself above others in such a way as to demean others. It’s about honoring your power and not making excuses for it.

Brag on!
